Snorkelling with Whale Sharks at Triton Bay

Today was all about getting up close with the biggest fish in the world, the Whale Shark. Arriving at the serene paradise of Triton Bay, we had an incredible experience as six Whale Sharks arrived at two different fishing platforms. We spent the next two hours snorkelling with and admiring these gentle giants. We also had incredible dolphin experiences as they chased the fish surrounding the Bagans.

In the afternoon, we enjoyed snorkelling and walking along the stunning white sand beach of Mauwara Island, surrounded by dramatic karst mountains and tropical rainforests. Exploring this lush paradise, some of us took the opportunity to swim in the freshwater lake.

To finish a spectacular day, we enjoyed a sunset Zodiac cruise, watching Hornbills and Parrots soar over tiny limestone islands scattered across huge lagoons.
