Setting Sail to the Subantarctic Islands
Heritage Expeditions first Subantarctic voyage of the season Galapagos of the Southern Ocean set sail from Bluff under perfect, first day of summer conditions.
With Spirit of Enderby prepped and waiting to welcome them aboard, our excited expeditioners arrived in the afternoon following a morning spent exploring the Catlins famed rocky outcrop Nugget Point.
Pulling away from the wharf at 1700 hours, guests made the most of the brilliant sunshine enjoying time out on the decks or watching the voyage unfold up in the bridge.
