Fiordland Wonderland

A beautiful calm and sunny morning greeted guests aboard Spirit of Enderby as they woke to take in the spectacular sight of Fiordland's towering ice-carved mountains cloaked in native forest, setting the scene for today's adventures.

The day started with two Zodiac cruises of Doubtful Sound, the deepest of New Zealand's fiords, as we zipped over the glassy water exploring this pristine piece of rarely-visited Fiordland West Coast where cascading waterfalls and jaw dropping scenery quickly filled memory cards.

After lunch it was to time take to the sky and explore Fiordland from above with Southern Helicopters. An unforgettable experience to be sure, soaring over verdant forests and winding fiords of Dusky Sound before landing on Mt Pender to take in some seriously impressive vistas perfectly showcased this dramatic region.

We ended the day with a leisurely ship cruise the grandiose serenity of Acheron Passage before celebrating/reliving the day's many highlights in the bar.
