The magnificent Marlborough Sounds
What a way to wake up! In one of the most beautiful places in New Zealand, the Marlborough Sounds. Here we had the option to visit Motuara Island for a walk and had a fabulous encounter with a Little Blue Penguin. We then visited Ship Cove, home to Captain Cook’s memorial, where we could see a gorgeous waterfall and walked to the scenic lookout which provided stunning views of the area.
A great day in one of the most beautiful areas of New Zealand.
