Soaking in the beauty of Ulva and Stewart Island
Our The Best of New Zealand adventure saw us arrive at the third island of New Zealand, Stewart Island. Every morning, we wake up in a new paradise, this time Ulva Island.
Choosing from a short, medium or long option, we split into four groups based on the level of difficulty we wanted, and it worked out perfectly. After spotting New Zealand Sea Lions on the beach, we saw a Southern Brown Kiwi/Tokoeka and a Saddleback in the wild. What a day! Back on board Heritage Adventurer we enjoyed lunch and made our way to Stewart Island.
It was time to head out and enjoy Stewart Island at our own pace. With many choosing to explore the museum, the shops or enjoy a drink with the locals at the South Sea Hotel.
Back on board Heritage Adventurer, it was time for dinner and to make our way up the South Island. Next stop, Dunedin.
