Flying High in Dusky Sound
Waking up on the last day of our Doubtful and Dusky Sounds voyage we enjoyed a morning cruise down to Supper Cove (the end of the Dusky Track). The cruise featured some amazing landscapes with narrow channels, more Bottlenose Dolphins and plenty more waterfalls as it had been raining overnight.
On arrival in Supper Cove we farewelled Heritage Explorer and her amazing team for the final time as we boarded the Southern Lakes Helicopters that would fly us out of the remote Dusky Sound we had so thoroughly explored. What a way to finish our expedition - flying back over the Main Divide to where it all started with some amazing views of the snow-covered mountains and Lake Te Anau.
