Cruising the karst landscape of Wayag Island
Today was a visit to the incredible karst landscape of Wayag Island, one of the highlights of Raja Ampat. After a Zodiac cruise through the scattered atolls and rising cliffs, we took the opportunity to snorkel in this picturesque slice of paradise. Afterwards, some of us hiked to the top of a limestone tor for a dramatic view over the lagoons.
After a fabulous morning of adventure, the afternoon saw us snorkel along a rock wall covered in incredible corals followed by a sunset Zodiac cruise.
Today saw us crossing the Equator line, so in maritime tradition, King Neptune arrived to welcome humble polliwogs who had yet to cross this iconic marker and welcome them as newly initiated shellbacks.
