A Russian biologist’s love affair with Wrangel Island
As a resident Snow Geese researcher on Wrangel Island, Vasiliy Baranyuk joined the Heritage Expeditions ship, Spirit of Enderby in 2011 at Wrangel Island and had the opportunity to share his knowledge and love of the Island and its wildlife with the passengers by presenting lectures and guiding them while they are ashore. He enjoyed the opportunity to share, what is for him, is a lifetime's work with Snow Geese.
