Past Passenger Louise Southerden's E-Book Released
Past Heritage Expeditions' passenger, Louise Southerden, is pleased to release her new e-book available on ITunes.
Her latest book, Adventures on Earth, will take you to places you never imagined, and a few you might have dreamed of seeing. Such as Kamchatka, the remote Russian outpost that has more bears than people, and Madagascar, land of bulging baobab trees and lemurs.
With 20 of her best-ever travel stories and more than 300 spectacular images presented in interactive galleries, Louise has brought the world’s wildest and most inspiring natural places close enough to touch.
Go trekking in Mongolia, Mustang and Madagascar. Sea kayaking through Papua New Guinea, the Arctic and the Philippines. Take an expedition cruise in East Antarctica, the Galapagos and Kamchatka in the Russian Far East. Do a road trip in Bhutan. Catch the high-altitude train journey across China to Tibet.
For a change of pace, there are short pieces on day trips such as camping in Cambodia, and paddling Kauai’s Na Pali coast in Hawaii. And all the adventures are trips almost anyone can do (there are links and contact details at the end of the book).
Whether you're just back from your latest adventure, happily armchair travelling or somewhere in between, Adventures on Earth is guaranteed to inspire wonder and a new appreciation for the world.
“Adventures on Earth will blow your mind in the same way that National Geographic or Sir David Attenborough does. Louise has a special ability to capture the soul of a place.” - Emma Gardiner, Spice Magazine
“Louise is the traveller we can all aspire to be: wise, free-spirited, intuitive and big-hearted.” - Helen Anderson, former travel editor of The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.
